FAQs
How do I know that I need therapy?
There are many reasons someone might consider therapy. You might be feeling overwhelmed and struggling to cope with life’s challenges, experiencing difficulties in your relationships, unable to move past trauma or painful memories, or simply feeling isolated and unsupported. Alternatively, you might be at a point where you’re eager to learn more about yourself and explore new ways to grow.
This isn’t an exhaustive list, but if any of these resonate with you, therapy could be a helpful step. It’s natural to feel a bit apprehensive about starting, but know that I’m here to support you. Whether it’s your first time in therapy or you’ve been before, my goal is to make you feel welcomed and supported throughout the process.
Do you take insurance?
I am currently in network with several insurance companies in OH and CO. I also provide clients the option to receive reimbursement from their insurance through a service called Mentaya. This allows you to potentially get some of the costs covered while still receiving the personalized care you deserve. If you’re interested in learning more about how this process works, feel free to reach out for additional information.
How long will I have to be in therapy?
Therapy can serve different purposes based on individual needs and circumstances. Some clients may find that a focused approach, addressing a particular issue, can be effective with just 4-8 sessions. Others may seek the ongoing support that long-term therapy offers, allowing for deeper exploration and personal growth over time.
I prioritize regular check-ins with my clients to ensure they feel supported and are achieving their goals. This collaborative process allows us to assess whether it's time to take a break or conclude therapy once they feel they have gained the insights and tools they came for. Your journey in therapy is uniquely yours, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.
Do you see people in person?
I currently see clients exclusively via telehealth to provide accessibility to services throughout the states of Colorado and Ohio. This approach allows me to connect with individuals from the comfort of their own homes, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our sessions. Telehealth enables us to work together regardless of your location in Colorado/Ohio, making it easier for you to prioritize your mental health and well-being.
